Buenos Aires, November 24 (NA) – The MasterChef Celebrity stoves were lit once again for a high-tension night this Sunday, where the jury raised the bar with a technical challenge that tested the precision of the celebrities and defined which participants secured their pass to the gala of benefits and those who will have to face each other again in the last chance gala.
In the night's challenge, chefs Damián Betular, Donato de Santis, and Germán Martitegui challenged the contestants to execute an iconic dish: a Raviolón Nino Bergese. The dish is characterized by having a raw egg yolk encapsulated inside the pasta, as recapitulated by the Argentine News Agency.
The challenge is that the contestants can only know if they executed it correctly at the time of the cut, when it is already in the hands of the jury.
While there were good dishes and not-so-good ones, the one that stole all the attention was Miguel Ángel's raviolón. The actor presented his version of Nino Bergese's dish: a flat ravioli with little filling and a hard dough.
Upon seeing the dish, the jury was harsh in their feedback, comparing his pasta to a "pancake" or even a "pascualina".
"You have to hope that someone else does worse," Betular sentenced.
Participants who went up to the balcony: Julia Calvo, Marixa Balli, Sofi Martínez, Cachete Sierra, Susana Roccasalvo, and Sofi Gonet.
Participants who return to the "last chance" gala: Alex Pelao Ke, Ian Lucas, Momi Giardina, Andy Chango, and Miguel Ángel.
